Underwater photos competition - 2008

The Seil snorkel

The rules of the competition are that you may take as many images as you wish, using either film or digital, in the area or areas designated for the competition on the Saturday and the Sunday of the competition. Slide and digital images will compete ‘head to head’ in a single competition. In addition to the “on the day” images, there are two “open” categories  – “UK” and “Rest of the World” where members can submit images (maximum of 3 per category) provided they have been taken during 2008.  Digital images must be in JPEG format, no wider than 1024 pixels and no higher than 768 pixels.
Judging was undertaken on Wednesday November 5th and was by ballot of the assembled membership at a presentation “slide” show of all the images in each category projected in random order.
